49 PFAS in soil

Veritas Laboratory Services is delighted to announce completion of validation of 49 PFAS in soil samples.

Recently Veritas Laboratory Services has started offering a validated analysis of 49 PFAS in waters, waste waters effluent waters, surface water and ground water, with a 1ng/l MDL for the majority of compounds.

However, PFAS testing is required not only in waters as one known pathway of ground water contamination is through soils. It is also known that the major route of contamination in plants (not only PFAS) is via the soil- plant pathway.

Hence, to support customers growing requirements, VLS is now offering analysis of 49 PFAS (PFOS and PFOA including) in soil matrix.
Testing for PFAS in soil is performed using validated in-house analytical method, based on ASTM D7968-17a method. Analysis is conducted by dedicated (solely to PFAS analysis) LC-MS/MS QQQ instrumentation.

At Veritas we do understand that testing for individual PFAS compounds is not always enough, therefore we already have started work on our third stage of PFAS project.
